Survived the First Day of Blogging

Well Survived the first day, go me.. and I'm back ! (I know.. how horrible of me torturing you to yet another read!)

I've been in search of photos from when I first started crafting, and I just cannot find them.. Either I deleted them due to sheer embarrassment or they magically disappeared from the computer as most things do!

But, instead I'm adding one of my all time favourites that I made for a special little girl earlier in the year, the lady that ordered the card, told me of such bravery this little girl has gone through and for me, it made the card so much more special with the story behind it. This is why I love to make cards, these special times.

Now, my dilemma of the day .... I ordered a Zutter Machine last week and it arrived, all looking good... Instruction manual included, its a cute little machine actually, and the purpose of it is to bind books, which I have a couple to make.  In the meantime, the instructions manual has been thrown across the room in a tantrum like state (taught well by my daughters of course), my fingers have been caught between the machine....It wasn't such a cute little machine at that point!! Now I understand why the foam was set in place there ..... I've yet to make a practice book before I commence on the REAL book.  Perhaps this will be my task for the day !

Anyway... I better go, The kettle is boiled, and for those that know me ... a cup of tea is a must ! While you've been reading this, I've been crafting away in hope that by the end of the day not only will my fingers still be intact, but a practice book will be complete along with some orders.

I bid you good day :)

Carry on Crafting ... and Welcome !

Hello there,

By chance, you have either accidently clicked on this link , or I've tied you to the computer, matchsticks in your eyes and forcing you to read my ramblings.

I apologise in advance !

Hopefully a number of you will know me once I've added this link to the Blog Page on my facebook page.... I rarely talk about what I do while crafting, I keep it minimum... (this is actually to avoid any confusion to myself!)

I absolutely have a love to craft, and in fact its more relaxing than doing the washing , ironing, housework.... the list goes on.. but then when do we ever find any of those 'chores' relaxing! Fortunately this past week, the washing machine has come to life and the bottom of the washing basket was seen for the first time in ... a week  ... well lets make that two...

Beside making cards (yes I do have breaks despite popular belief that I am constantly at the crafting table with the glue, scissors and insanity), I love to read and to end the day, I pick up the kindle (who doesn't love a kindle hey!) and read for a while to relax the mind before I drift off to sleep.  Perfect!

So, you've read this far.  Well done... For your hard work, I'll tell you a little about myself.  I'm a mum of 2 beautiful little girls and they are my world.   Every day is a new day and you just never know what they will come out with.  The joys of being a Mum has many rewards (especially after a day of tantrums, and they are finally asleep ;) ....

But that's enough about me for the minute, more will come later.  This was actually meant to be a quick 'Welcome', but as you can see.. I ramble too !

I really should dig out some photos of cards that I made when I first started making them a few years back.... anything for a giggle right ? In the meantime, I must put up a few photos of what I do now ... I'm hoping to continue this blog as much as I can, whether its just because i've put my hand near the gullotine (this has happened) or whether I've superglued my fingers together (this has happened) ... you'll be sure to know :P
